The Mobile Air Climate Systems Association (MACS) is excited to announce its Call for Speakers for the 2026 Annual Training Event & Trade Show, set to take place in New Orleans from January 28th-31st, 2026. MACS has been a leading advocate for the mobile air climate systems industry since 1981, providing a platform for professionals to share knowledge, explore innovations, and foster growth within the community.

Event Overview:

The MACS Annual Training Event & Trade Show is a premier gathering that unites industry experts, technicians, business owners, and other stakeholders. The event features comprehensive training sessions, insightful presentations, and a trade show showcasing the latest products and technologies in MVAC and thermal management. Past events have highlighted advancements in areas such as MVAC systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), refrigerants, and diagnostic tools.

Call for Speakers:

We invite professionals with expertise in the following topics to submit proposals for presentations:

  • ADAS Tailored to A/C Specialists: Exploring the integration and implications of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for air conditioning professionals.
  • Insurance and Warranty Processing: Best practices for managing insurance claims and warranty processes within the HVAC industry.
  • Subletting and Business LLC Tactics: Strategies for effective subletting and insights into forming and managing Limited Liability Companies.
  • Coaching Information Sources and Service Information: Identifying reliable information sources and enhancing service information dissemination.
  • Advanced A/C Electrical: Techniques and methodologies for diagnosing complex electrical air conditioning system faults.
  • Scan Tool and Scope Usage for the A/C Professional: Utilizing diagnostic tools effectively in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
  • OEM Trends & Development: Insights into Original Equipment Manufacturer trends and developments impacting the HVAC industry.
  • Hybrid Deep Dive: In-depth exploration of hybrid vehicle systems and their implications for A/C professionals.
  • Industry Changes Regarding R-1234yf: Comprehensive analysis of the transition to R-1234yf refrigerant and its industry impact.
  • Leadership, Management, Financial Training, and Soft Skills: Enhancing essential business skills for industry professionals.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Proposal Content: Submissions should include a title, a brief abstract (150-200 words), learning objectives, and a speaker biography.
  • Session Format: Presentations can be 90 minutes or 3 hours, including a Q&A segment. Please specify your preference in your submission.
  • Audience: Attendees range from seasoned industry veterans to newcomers. Please specify what audience knowledge level your class is meant for.

MACS’s Non-Commercial Policy:

Participants in MACS programs are seeking valuable educational sessions and are always critical of presenters or sessions that are self-promotional.  MACS policy therefore obliges presenters may not use a conference session for commercial sales pitches, self-promotion, or unwarranted criticism of a competitor.  Presentations should only advance the educational process; sales pitches do not and are therefore not acceptable.  Speakers are not permitted to distribute company promotional literature, brochures, or sales materials in any form to attendees during their session.
