A/C condensation is not a cause for concern
If on a humid day, you turn on your car’s A/C system and a fine mist blows out of the vents, don’t be alarmed. You are merely witnessing a small amount of water vapor exiting the system.
Moisture can cling to the evaporator and interior air distribution components and if it has not had a chance to evaporate naturally may condense into mist. This is very similar to the contrails visible in the sky by airplanes when atmospheric conditions are right.
This condensation can also be visible exiting the bottom of your car via the drain tube from the evaporator housing. If you have been parked after running the A/C and pull away and find a small puddle of water from under your car it is condensation exiting the A/C system.
When having your mobile A/C system professionally serviced, insist on proper repair procedures and quality replacement parts. Insist on recovery and recycling so that refrigerant can be reused and not released into the atmosphere.
