Spring cleaning should include the cabin air filter

Most cars today come equipped with cabin air filters, and many of them have never been replaced. Whenever a vehicle comes into your shop containing an easily-checked cabin air filter, take the moment to remove and inspect it, and if  as dirty as the one below, show it to the customer and advise them on replacing any dirty cabin air filters with a new, clean one.

When having your mobile A/C system professionally serviced, insist on proper repair procedures and quality replacement parts. Insist on recovery and recycling so that refrigerant can be reused and not released into the atmosphere.
