Electrification: Are we prepared?
A recent survey from CarGurus suggests consumer interest in purchasing an electric vehicle (EV) has doubled in the past three years. Although the consumer confidence is high, it comes with conditions before they would consider the switch. One of those conditions; 65% said the infrastructure would need to increase to mainly support more charging stations in their area, followed closely by 62% said if it were easier to find replacement parts, including batteries.

According to the survey, of the 1,097 car owners that responded in the U.S. 30% said they would probably or definitely own an electric vehicle in the next five years. Other conditions mentioned (PAY Attention Members), “if long term fuel and maintenance savings outweighed the higher asking price.”

Education is the key to having a customer understand the importance of proper maintenance.
