School Bus A/C… Not so different!

One of the best things about working on the MACS A/C tech support helpline is the opportunity to speak with member technicians from many different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Most of course are working on passenger cars and light trucks (because there’s simply more of that type of vehicle out there), but increasingly we get asked to help those working on medium and heavy-duty trucks, off-highway construction and agricultural equipment, emergency (medical ambulance and fire apparatus) and even specialty transport like shuttle vans, small busses, and student transportation.
Since it’s September (and another school year is upon us), we’re going to look at what’s so different about school bus A/C as compared to the more common automotive-type systems.
