It’s an Interior Heating Evolution!
In the last 120 years, automotive passenger heating has evolved dramatically from open carriage-type automobiles with little occupant protection from the elements to complex electric vehicle (EV) heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

The passenger heating and weather protection of open horseless carriages were the same options as a horse-drawn buggy. In cold or wet weather, rubber or waterproofed bibs, lap blankets, heavy full-length fur-lined coats, winter caps, neck and face coverage, goggles, leather gloves, and boots provided the only safeguards from the climate.
