Electric Saturday!

A focus on EV training at the MACS 2023 Training Event, February 2-4 in Nashville.

Is your shop ready to service electric vehicles? The Saturday sessions of the MACS Training Event and Trade show have you covered! Hybrid and electric vehicles are the focus of seven Saturday technical sessions from leading EV trainers, including a lunch panel discussion on battery electric and hybrid vehicles with some of your favorite instructors like Mike Bailey, Dr. Mark Quarto, Jerry Mungle and “G” Truglia.

Four of the sessions will be an hour and a half long, and these sessions will cover:

  • Building an EV Training Program That’s Best for Your Business and Service Team with Paul Pelly
  • Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Operation, Diagnosis and Repair with Jerry Mungle
  • How to Prepare your Shop to be Profitable When Adding EV Service and Repair with Russ Hutton
  • Electric Compressors, EV System Enhancements and Heat Pumps with Mike Bailey. (Of these four classes, only Mike Bailey’s session will not repeat another time in the day.)

The two remaining sessions are roughly three hours long, both being presented by Dr. Mark Quarto who will present using a fully electric vehicle. Session one will cover A/C Compressor Diagnostics for Electrified Vehicle Systems (Workshop 1), and the second session will cover What Can be Inspected and Serviced on Electrified Vehicles Now (Workshop 2).

In addition to these EV-focused sessions, Saturday will also have five Heavy-Duty sessions, one Bus session, and four Passenger Car/Light Truck sessions, one of which is a two-part Best Practices class taught by Agnes Perez in Spanish. As you can see, Saturday is packed with an amazing selection of courses.

Have you looked at the class scheduling and made your session-attendance plans yet? Now is the perfect time to start!
