MACS Welcomes Industry Leader Pam Oakes to Full-Time Staff

Lansdale, PA – 4/2/25 — The Mobile Air Climate Systems Association (MACS) is excited to announce that Pam Oakes, a fourth-generation automotive technician and respected industry leader, has joined the MACS team full-time.

About Pam Oakes

With over 35 years of hands-on experience in repair, training, and business development, Pam’s expertise spans thermal management, ADAS, electrical systems, shop operations, and aftermarket technology. Her career began in a Detroit garage with her great-grandfather and father, continuing a 109-year family legacy in the automotive industry.

Pam formerly owned the nationally recognized Pam’s Motor City Automotive & Tires. Since selling the shop in 2015, she has worked as a technical consultant, ADAS expert, R&D developer, and senior trainer with top organizations, including Burke Porter Group, Delphi Technologies, and Raytheon IIS.

An ASE Master Technician with certifications in automotive, medium/heavy-duty truck, collision, and L4 ADAS, Pam also holds multiple patents and has been featured on NBC’s Today Show and HSN. She is a regular contributor to Motor Magazine, ABRN, Tire Business, and others. She also frequently presents at major industry events, including SEMA, VISION, and MACS.
