Grand Opening of TCCI’s New Climatic Center for Innovation & Research (CCIR)

MACS attended the grand opening event for TCCI Manufacturing’s Climatic Center for Innovation & Research (CCIR) on October 2, 2026.
The state-of-the-art facility, located at their headquarters in Decatur, Illinois, serves as a vehicle environmental testing center. It features an advanced climatic wind tunnel chamber designed to replicate extreme, real-world weather environments (with capabilities ranging from -40°F to 120°F) to test and validate next-generation electric vehicle (EV) technology and thermal management systems.
The grand opening event coincided with Illinois Manufacturing Month and served as the premier stop on the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association “Makers on the Move” bus tour.
